Lisa O’Hare, Lauren Worsham, Jane Carr and more will round out the complete cast of the new musical A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, written by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. After acclaimed runs at Hartford Stage and San Diego’s Old Globe, this madcap musical comedy, directed by Darko Tresnjak, begins previews at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre on October 22, with opening night set for November 17.
Joining O’Hare, Worsham, Carr and previously announced stars Jefferson Mays (reprising his role from Hartford and San Diego) and Bryce Pinkham will be Pamela Bob, Joanna Glushak, Eddie Korbich, Jeff Kready, Mark Ledbetter, Jennifer Smith, Don Stephenson, Price Waldman and Catherine Walker.
Pinkham stars as Monty Navarro, a long-lost member of a noble family who stands to become the next Earl of Highhurst—if he can eliminate the eight other relatives who precede him in line for the title. Monty sets out to off the eight relatives standing in the way of his fortune—all of whom are played by Mays—while also juggling a mistress (O’Hare), a fiancée (Worsham) and the threat of landing behind bars.
